A Message From Our President
It is a tremendous honor to serve as the 7th President of the International Board of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (IBSES). This role is particularly meaningful to me as I follow in the footsteps of Dr. Charles Neer, founder of the Columbia Shoulder Service and fellowship and the first President of IBSES, whose vision was to bring the international shoulder community together through collaboration and the exchange of ideas.
More than three decades later, that vision remains at the heart of IBSES. I look forward to working with our Board, our international societies, and colleagues around the world to strengthen those connections and continue to grow our global shoulder and elbow community.
With the 17th ICSES in Cairo in 2029 and the 18th ICSES on the Gold Coast in 2032, we have much to look forward to. I am excited to work alongside both organizing committees to build upon the extraordinary legacy of the ICSES and ensure that these meetings continue to bring our international community together.
I look forward to what we will accomplish together.
